W. H. Freeman and Sumanas, Inc. are pleased to announce the availability of Presentation Manager Pro for Universe 5!

This update to the Presentation Manager software includes the ability to add your own files to presentations. External files can be in JPEG, GIF, Photoshop, PICT, Windows BMP, or QuickTime Movie format!

In addition, you can add images stored as Internet URLS to your presentations. Instructors using this feature can place custom image and animation files on their local webserver, create a playlist using the URLS to these files (as well as the textbook files built-in to Presentation Manager) and distribute the playlist to students (or anyone else) who can then load and play the custom presentation.

Requirements:

  1. You must first install the Universe 5 Instructor's CD or Student CD before running the PM Pro SETUP application.

  2. Presentation Manager Pro requires the Instructor's CD for operation. Make sure that the IRCD is in your CD-ROM drive before launching the Presentation Manager Pro application.

  3. An User Guide for PM Pro in Adobe Acrobat format is also installed by the SETUP application. Please refer to this document for additional information about PM Pro.
