Page 24, Figure 2-4B The labels “Postsynaptic neuron” and “Presynaptic neuron” in the left and right parts of this illustration are reversed. The arrows in both parts are going from the presynaptic neuron to the postsynaptic neuron.
Page 80, Figure 3-24 The label “Dorsal root” is incomplete; the label should be “Dorsal root ganglion.”

Page 125, Figure 5-8 legend In the parentheses on the fourth line, the reference to light shading is incorrect; the reference should be to green shading.
Page 143, Figure 6-6 legend In the parentheses on the fourth line, the reference to three bottom traces is incorrect; the reference should be to two bottom traces.
Page 315, Figure 13-A The missing part of this figure (B) is a scanning electron microscope close-up of an antenna, showing the fine featherlike hairs that cover each of its filaments.
Page 331, Figure 13-C, part A The label “Optic lobe” is incorrect; the label should be “Olfactory bulb.”
Page 371, Figure 15-4 The labels for the fibers are reversed; the fibers are described correctly in the legend.
Page 450, Figure 19-3 The missing parts of this figure (B) depict two acoustic interneurons in a different species of moth than that represented in part A. Both interneurons have extensive dendritic branching in the regions of the neuropil that receive input from the ears, and both send axons up into the brain.
Page 573, Figure 24-B legend In the eighth line, the reference to black coat color is incorrect; heterozygous mice are indicated by the gray coat color.
Page 586, Figure 25-4 The labels “Cell body” and “Ganglion” are incorrectly positioned; they should be reversed.
Page 124, Figure 5-7
The top of the figure should be labelled summed current, not summed
potential.
