Use the commands in this menu to change your location, to find or get information about an object in the sky, or to adjust options of how the sky is displayed.

Brings up the Viewing Location
window, which lets you set your current viewing
location. Has the same function as the
button on the Tool
Palette.
Returns to your default viewing location. Has the same
function as the
button on the Tool Palette.
Opens the Options dialog. This window displays the adjustable settings of Starry Night's features. Select the features you want to adjust from the Options dropdown menu in the Options dialog

Saves your current settings as the default options.
Adjusts the number of stars that are displayed. Moving the slider to the right shows more stars.

Opens the Set Home Location window.
Allows you to stop Starry Night from prompting you to save sky views when existing and show the Moon in a larger size. Preferences are global; once set, they are automatically used as the default preferences.
