Use the commands in this menu to turn on and off the display of various groups of sky objects, as well as the horizon and daylight. All these commands are also available from the Display Palette.

Shows/hides your local physical horizon in the active
document. Not available when planets are turned off. Has the same
function as the
button on the Display Palette.
Turns daylight on or off, when viewing during the day. Not
available when planets are turned off. Has the same function as
the
button on the Display Palette.
Shows/hides an outline of the Milky Way. Has the same function
as the
button on
the Display Palette.
Shows/hides Messier objects. Messier objects include galaxies,
nebulae, and star clusters. Has the same function as the
button on the Display Palette.
Shows/hides stars. Has the same function as the
button on the Display Palette.
Shows/hides the planets. Since the Earth is a planet, the
local horizon and daylight will not be shown when Planets
are turned off. Has the same function as the
button on the Display Palette.
Shows/hides comets. Has the same function as the
button on the Display Palette.
