2. Mosasaurs (p. 470)   Marine and freshwater fishes characterized by symmetrical tails, round scales, specialized fins, and short jaws.
3. Teleost fishes (p. 469)   Marine lizards of the Cretaceous that sometimes reached 15 meters in length.
